6 Degrees Anniversary Party at The Westgate Hotel – 8/23

6 Degrees is a San Diego based networking group dedicated to bringing a social conscience to professional networking in order to increase long-lasting connections within the business community. The 4 Year Anniversary Party will be a sophisticated celebration of San Diego culture, featuring local restaurants, classic cocktails, and live Sinatra-style music within the elegant Westgate Hotel. DiscoverSD Presents Café Sevilla Grand Opening – 8/25

Sevilla remains the same in concept and vibe, yet is now housed in a new three-story venue on Fifth Avenue that radiates with warmth and shines with contemporary appeal without losing its authentic Spanish roots. The Griffin Grand Opening with The Howls – 8/25

The Griffin is a next generation neighborhood dive bar that transformed the former O’Connell’s Pub space with a new outlook on laid back local nightlife. This under-the-radar Clairemont spot remains the same in size and atmosphere, yet the new party pros upgraded the experience with an emphasis on social interaction. The old carpeting has been replaced with hardwood floors, topped with new booths, light fixtures, and surrounded by dim red décor. EDM with ATB at FLUXX – 8/25

Electronic Dance Music is taking the local nightlife scene by storm. Every month FLUXX hosts a massive EDM party, featuring one of the top DJs in the world. This Thursday, FLUXX presents ATB, a German DJ, musician, and producer of Trance music. According to the official world DJ rankings governed by DJ Magazine, ATB was ranked #11 in 2009, as well as in 2010. Lil Wayne ConcertAfter Party at Stingaree – 8/25

Lil Wayne’s nationwide tour is starting out in Florida and making its way across the country for a live performance in San Diego this Thursday, August 25 at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre. The tour line-up features Lil Wayne with Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, Far East Movement, and Lloyd. The $1 Million TVG Pacific Classic returns to Del Mar this Sunday, August 28, where you can spot some of the nation’s most prominent Thoroughbreds competing for the $1 million purse.
