San Diego Halloween Parties 2011 Special Guide

This is where the Party Begin! Oh yeah It’s on!

Hard Rock Halloween 2011 – Saturday, October 29

The entertainment masterminds scheming up this year’s party have once again won our attention with Hard Rock Halloween 2011, a hotel-wide event taking over three floors and five venues with 15 DJs and enough packed-in party people to make this the biggest Halloween bash yet. The Hard Rock Halloween Party goes big on Saturday, October 29th, spanning from ground level 207 up to Edge, into Legends, and all the way to the rooftop of Float. Last year’s Halloween party brought 10 DJs to the dance floor, while this year ups the ante to a new level. So which DJs will be making you sweat in your wild wardrobe? This year will feature Decon, Diggs, DJ Ri, Al Squared, Dadon, Kurch, Till, DJ AD, Static Promenade, Tony Arzadon, Chris Garcia, Eric D-Lux, Myron Eugene and DJ Vice.

Monster Bash in the Gaslamp Quarter – Saturday, October 29

The Monster Bash block party is one of the largest and most unique Halloween party experiences in San Diego. The downtown city streets will be blocked off and filled with multiple stages of entertainment. Three sinfully themed Mega-Clubs are tantalizing us this year, with new levels of debauchery and scandal in a Halloween hotbed. Down 6th Avenue, take heed as the screams of Prom Queens running throughout hallways compose the Dead Prom Club, featuring DJs including Kurch, GRoy & Schoeny, Who & Paulo De Rosa and DJ Shift straight out of Vegas. Dos Equis Fright Club will be filled with swarms of sexy monsters dancing to beats by Chris Cutz, Dave Nada, Hyper Crush and GRoy & Emcee Tenacious Tricia, and will also home to the $3,000 costume contest.

Fetish Halloween with Too Short at FLUXX – Monday, October 31

FLUXX is hosting a whole weekend of big Halloween bashes, but the ultimate party will be Fetish on Monday, October 31 featuring a live performance by rap icon Too Short. Back in San Diego by popular demand, Too Short will perform many of his hit songs live in the club, including “Blow the Whistle” and “Gettin’ It” while local favorite DJ Brett Bodley heats up the dance floor all night long.
